Dr. Neelam Agarwal brings three generations of Ayurvedic healing and 45+ years of her own practice to women's health — fertility, gynaecology and antenatal care through natural herbs, yoga and healthy living, at Arogyadham, Muzaffarnagar, Rishikesh and Dehradun.
Gynaecologist & Infertility Specialist — Ayurvedacharya, Yogacharya
Dr. Neelam Agarwal is a dedicated and innovative third-generation Ayurvedic doctor, Yogacharya, and trustee of the Arogyadham Global AIDS Research Foundation and the Maa Research Foundation. She is a woman of ethics who has devoted her life to helping people through Ayurveda. Over 45 years ago, when women were rarely encouraged to work independently, she courageously stepped forward — helping women through her writing in magazines and newspapers while providing healing through yoga and Ayurveda. Beyond her OPD practice she has empowered women through free workshops and awareness programmes, and she has always preferred to prepare her own organic medicines through organic medicinal farming rather than relying on the pharmaceutical sector.
She has helped lakhs of women enjoy the beauty of motherhood, supporting them in fertility through natural herbs and Ayurvedic practices such as yoga, meditation and healthy living. Women from India and abroad have benefited from her guidance and treatments.

Three generations, one enduring mission — from Muzaffarnagar to the world.
The Arogyadham family carries a lineage of more than 110 years in healthcare, and Dr. Neelam Agarwal has been serving humanity for over 45 years. Late Dr. Gunwant Rai Agarwal established Arogyadham in 1914 at Muzaffarnagar, U.P., and was later joined by Vaidyaraj Late Sh. V. C. Agarwal. Since 1982 Dr. Neelam Agarwal has served continuously at Arogyadham alongside her family, and the practice has since been joined by Dr. Mitalee Agarwal, B.A.M.S., Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun (Patanjali).
She practises in gynaecology, obstetrics, antenatal care and infertility — an expert gynaecologist who treats infertility in women through her immense knowledge of a woman's physical constitution, her rhythmic menstrual cycles, and the most ancient medicinal system of Ayurveda. She possesses the proverbial healing power and has cured a great number of complex cases that had virtually defied allopathic treatment from certain acknowledged authorities, and is equally proficient in dealing with lifestyle problems, chronic diseases and other common disorders.
In 1998 she established a Herbal Museum of 600 herbs for use in chronic diseases and sexual disorders, followed in 1999 by the Nakshatra Vatika at Arogyadham for chronic disease and spiritual wellbeing. In November 2003 she integrated the Mahila Yoga Centre, Muzaffarnagar, with the Ambassador of the West Indies to provide free yoga services to women, and she has attended many national and international conferences on yoga and Ayurveda across the U.S.A. and Europe. Since 1992 she has served as an editor of India's most popular Hindi family health magazine, Arogyadham — a quarterly on Ayurveda, balanced diet, good moral character, naturopathy, yoga, homeopathy, psychology, philosophy, religion and rare and effective domestic formulas of medicine, read by an estimated one million people in India and abroad.
Her programmes have been telecast on Sony TV, STAR Plus, Aastha, DD Metro, Jain TV and SAB TV — currently on SAB TV at 7:24 a.m. daily, and as Arogyadham Ek Vardan on the MA Channel at 8:20 a.m. U.K. time across the U.K. and Europe. She has produced an Ayurveda DVD on 22 chronic diseases and how to get rid of them, and has presented radio programmes on Akashvani in Delhi and Lucknow.
Her yoga and Ayurveda workshops have been conducted for the Indian Navy, the Indian Paramilitary Academy, the Indian Air Force, Miss India in Mumbai, and the Delhi, Mumbai and Uttarakhand police forces — and internationally in the West Indies, at the Consulate in Luxembourg, in the U.S.A. (Washington D.C. and Chicago), London, Paris, Belgium, Rome, Hamburg and Frankfurt, and Trinidad and Tobago, among others.
